The shape and additional facets would, according to the Antwerp diamond manufacturer, give a higher colour value as the light dispersion would be much more compared to the common round diamonds. This Centenaire diamond would be of 0.30-carats onwards and will be certified by the IGI.
The popularly known round cut diamond, has been given a new dimension by Michielsen Manufacturing & Co. The new creation trademarked as the Centenaire cut, has 100 facets compared to the 58 facets found on the traditional round.
