A: One can only make a difference if he believes in unity. All the Past Chairmen and COAs have passionately played a vital role in developing GJF and the Industry, and their support and guidance will continue to help sail the industry towards progress and prosperity. I am confident that with the support from our members and the Government, we will achieve our desired goals.

In today’s competitive world, it is extremely important to stay one step ahead and offer best services to your clients. Technology also plays a crucial role, as the reach of Smartphone and service providers has increased phenomenally. We should take full benefit of the latest technology available with us, as it is also the vision of our Honourable PM Narendra Modi.

A: Since its inception in 2005, GJF has become a pillar of protection, promotion and progress for the Gems & Jewellery Industry, the credit goes to the selfless efforts and perseverance of all Past Chairmen. They have always been a source of inspiration for many, and with their guidance, I am hopeful to achieve the desired goals of GJF and the Industry.

Q: What is your message to the industry?

A: The industry has to remain united. The government will only listen to us if we have one voice, and one consensus, as Mother Teresa said “I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot. Together we can do great things.”

Q: Is there anything that you'd like to add?

A: We are planning to undertake membership drive across the nation. Also, we are planning to get affiliation with all the associations / federations of India and empower them. Innovation will play a key role in the Industry’s future, wherein newer and better platforms of promotion are to be encouraged.
