2nd edition of COUTURE India garners huge response

Over 1000 trade visitors from across the country

The second edition of COUTURE India witnessed immense love and patronage of the gems and jewellery industry from across India. More than 1000 trade visitors with 70 per cent pan-India showroom owners visited the show, which was held September 9 to 11 at Taj Palace in New Delhi. During the second edition of the show, Hosted Buyers and visitors had an opportunity to meet the country’s top 57 jewellery exhibitors.

Manoj Dwivedi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India lighted the inaugural lamp. Other dignitaries present at the inaugural ceremony were Vijay Khanna from Khanna Jewellers and Alok Kala from Indian Jeweller.

A total of 75 Hosted Buyers from 41 cities across India took advantage of the exclusive ‘Hosted Buyer Program.’  Some of the prominent hosted buyers included Jithendra Vummidi from Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers, Anand Prakash from Abhushan Diamonds, Manish Khurana from Khurana Jewellery House, Anil Pethani from Cara Jewels, Anil Kataria from DP Jewellers, Arpit Rastogi from Lala Jugal Kishore Jewellers, Sacheen Vastani from Dass Jewellers, Jignesh Rathod from Rathod Jewellers, etc.

Besides, COUTURE India hosted special Networking Evenings, Knowledge Forums and Fashion Night for the sponsored buyers and exhibitors. Day 1 evening witnessed Sitar Rhapsody, a fusion ensemble mesmerising the exhibitors and buyers with their compositions while Vyatha The Band – performed live during the Day 2 networking evening.

The second edition had an array of over 50 top handpicked couture jewellery brands under one roof, who exhibited their fine jewels in booths designed at par with international standards. One could see leading jewellery brands like BR Design, Raniwala Jewellers, Dwarakadas Chandumal Jewellers, Anand Shah, Ashi Jewellery, Vasupati Jewellers, Awsome Sparklers, Exquisite Color Craft, etc.

Following the first edition, the second edition, too, had identical booths for all the exhibitors spread a sense of equality amongst them. After all, each of them had their unique design skills on display.
