West African Diamonds to begin diamond production

Initial production is slated at 900 carats of “good quality diamonds every month

India’s young entrepreneurs of the diamond industry were felicitated by International Diamond Laboratories (IDL), at the very first “Young Business Achievers of the Diamond Industry Awards” held recently in Mumbai.
Mr. Rajiv Mehta from Dimexon Diamond Ltd, Mr. Manish Paithani from N Suresh and Company, Mr.Ankit Mehta from NaveenChandra and Company and Mr. Arnav Mehta. from Blue Star were announced as the winners at the ceremony which was presided by Dr. David Rutledge, CEO, DMCC (Member of the IDL Board of Directors); Mr. Peter Meeus, CEO, IDL and Mr. Samit Bhatta, General Manager IDL (India and Middle East).
Mr. Peter Meeus mentioned, “As a token of our appreciation and recognition of the fantastic work done by young entrepreneurs in the diamond trade, we hope these awards encourage young business enthusiast to further the growth in markets for trade in diamonds.”
This being the first appearance of the awards in India made the occasion even more special. IDL plans to host the awards on an annual basis.
