ISHI’S, a division of Suashish Diamonds Ltd., has unveiled the most precious armband in the universe priced at US$1 million at Mumbai in November. The armband was launched at the ITC Grand Central Sheraton by none other than the most beautiful Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova, who is here in India as part of the IG International AIDS Awareness Tour.
The armband made of 1kg gold is studded with 10,000 diamonds. “I am excited to be a part of the launch of the Ishi’s armband. I think this is a brilliant concept. I love it! What better way to celebrate romance than wearing your heart on your sleeve and what better way to say forever, than diamonds. The Ishi’s Most Precious Armband in the Universe, for me, is also the most romantic. I am proud to unveil it,” said Glebova during the launch.%%Ishi’s traces the path of love from the third finger which signifies love, marriage and relationships, to the heart. The band is carved in gold with black gold suggestive of thorns, hardships in life and pink flowers in gold indicating all happy and precious moments. Using two trailing plants in gold and innumerable diamonds in a delicate flowing design that wraps around the arm, the armband is suggestive of a saga of love and relationships.
Ashish Goenka, managing director of Suashish Diamonds, thanked Natalie for being a part of the occasion. “The forte of Suashish Diamonds is combining intricate designs with innovative product development. We constantly push the boundaries of product and design to create innovations that truly celebrate the beauty of diamonds. Our expertise and exposure as vendors of diamond jewellery before the global markets gets reflected in every aspect of the creation of Ishi’s Most Precious Armband in the Universe,” he said.$$“Ishi’s as a brand is about relationships. Our research indicated that women treasure their engagement and wedding rings for their symbolism. The experiences on the road to love are precious and these experiences get symbolised in the ring on the left hand. The armband is our reverence to romance and love — the special bond that two people create. Diamonds seal the for-everness of this love,” says Marzin R. Shroff, CEO, Ishi’s.$$“We understand consumer needs, we understand diamonds and we have built an infrastructure in technology that enables us to deliver what the customer desires through innovations,” Goenka added.
