Gary Ptak’s designs in his ‘Conscience Collection’ are crafted in colored-diamond jewelry that utilizes recycled metals and lab-grown diamonds and gemstones. There are two aspects to his creativity: minimalist design and the luxury jewellery market's shift toward sustainable jewellery or being "green.%%The collection includes rings for men and women, earrings, bracelets and pendants made in 18-karat gold in various colours, palladium or platinum. The stones include diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires, are also available. The recyclable quotient is 80 percent with yellow, pink or blue diamonds. According to Ptak the lab-grown colored diamonds are more favourv\ble then those sourced naturally as he says, "These stones may have tiny inclusions, but for the most part, we have seen that they tend to have more brilliance than mined stones while bypassing the unfavorable social issues connected with stones taken from the Earth," he said in a statement. "In my opinion, they are as desirable as the most captivating stones taken from nature."%% The Conscience Collection is a subsidiary of Gary Ptak LLC and Ptak, is a Mamaroneck-based jewellery manufacturer and trained at the Gemological Institute of America.
