Rockwell Diamonds is planning increase in production

The company wants to acquire firms in South Africa

According to a statement release, the Diamond Trading Company (DTC) has decided to increase the price of its rough diamonds at its January 2008 sight by an average of 3.5%. The sight begins on January 14. The increase is intended to focus on the higher end range of rough and other areas of strong demand. Although, the DTC assured that it would consider the changes in the market conditions and accordingly amend prices from time to time. Also, the DTC sightholders will be updated on DTC price adjustments in February, May and August to align with major trade fairs and key selling periods.
