Ronnie Cox, the previous Vice Chairman of American Gem Society (AGS) Laboratories has been selected as its new chairman to the Board of Directors. Cox is the owner and operator of John R Cox and Sons, Inc. in Sweetwater, Texas. He has been an integral hand at founding and leading AGS Laboratories. %% Cox replaces Clayton Bromberg who served as Chairman since 2005. “Ronnie Cox has been a valuable member of our Board of Directors,” said Frank Dallahan, President and CEO of AGS Laboratories. “He’s a tremendous resource and the management team at the Lab is fortunate to have someone with his wisdom and insight at the helm of our Board.” %% Cox graduated with a degree in economics from Rice University, and is a Graduate Gemologist, and a Certified Gemologist of the American Gem Society. “I am proud to be the Chairman of the Board for the only laboratory founded to protect the consumer, and the laboratory with the highest grading standards in the industry. It’s a great honor”, said Cox. %% The American Gem Society Laboratories provides diamond-grading reports based on the highest standards of diamond grading and offers the only scientifically peer reviewed, objective and repeatable cut grade method in the industry. The appointment of Cox was a unanimous decision by the Board at the recent quarterly meeting.
