Couture India to launch in December 2011

The high-end designer brands will be exhibited at UBM's Mumbai Jewellery and Gem Fair

A five day course – the Contemporary Diamond Jewellery Design Course is being offered by HRD Antwerp NV, for those interested in jewellery designing. The learning programme is designed to help hone the skills of jewellery designing by taking the thought process to practical implementation stage. %% In a press release, HRD Antwerp revealed the lecturers as: Mr. Laurent-Max De Cock, Associate Professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and jewellery designer and Ms. Veerle Van Wilder, Associate Professor at St.Lucas in Antwerp and jewellery designer. Classes will be limited to 15 students to guarantee personal guidance. The training would deal with aspects like fundamentals of diamonds in modern jewellery design and the aesthetics of the presentation on paper. %% The training will be delivered in English and French. The English version is split into three slots: from July 28 to August 1, 2008; from October 20 to 24, 2008 and from April 2 to 6, 2009. The French course will be taught from February 2 to 6, 2009.
