The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) has created an online sourcing guide namely Gem Industry Guide, for the gemstone and jewellery industry. The guide is accessible to all AGTA members and industry professionals. "We are always looking for opportunities to offer more exposure for the Association and its members," said Douglas K. Hucker, AGTA CEO. "This guide is a proven solution for web savvy companies looking for gemstone and jewelry related products." %% It’s unique search method allows one to source the desired diamond variety, from suppliers, in the shortest possible time and hassle free manner. The directory will be accessible through a prominent link located on the AGTA website: www.agta.org. The online viewer can make keyword-driven or category-specific searches, avoiding the clutter associated with searching through general internet websites. The site has a unique function of Request For Information (RFI) functionality, with which the users can contact participating suppliers very easily. A downloadable desktop search application has been provided for industry professionals to search for items directly from a small search window on their desktops – making the search process as convenient and time-efficient as possible. %% AGTA developed the site in conjunction with MultiView Inc., a leading publisher of Online Supplier Directories (OLSD) for national associations.
