The largest cut Paraiba tourmaline of almost 192 carats may be the new addition in the Guinness World Records. The stone is an oval-shaped clear turquoise gem. Its owner - Vincent Boucher, a Canadian financier, has applied to the Guinness World Records for verifying his stone as the world’s largest gemstone. He is vying to break the record of the current Guinness World Records holder with its mass of just under 52 carats. %% Boucher has named his stone as Ethereal Carolina Divine Paraiba. He plans to showcase the stone on a world tour, after it gets Guinness World Records recognition. He looks forward to the stone being included in 2011 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records. %% Boucher has priced the stone at between $25 million and $125 million, although he is not intending to sell it.
