Ranka Jewellers unveils Endless Love collection

The key concepts adopted for the range are 'Infinity Symbols', 'Endless Love Knots' and 'Duo Bands', an eternal token of love.

Sotheby's is hosting its New York sale of Magnificent Jewels on December 9, 2009 with a variety of flawless colourless diamonds, works of renowned jewellers including Cartier, JAR and Louis Comfort Tiffany, and jewels from the collection of a late fashion model, reports say. %% Amongst the colourless diamonds, Sotheby's is offering an oval diamond of 30.48 carats, D colour with flawless clarity and type IIa "Golconda-like" classification (estimated to sell for over $3.3 million). Unmounted exceptional diamonds to be featured include -an 18.11 carat round diamond, of H color, graded as triple-X with excellent cut, polish and symmetry (estimated to sell for $750,000 to $1 million), a 13.85 carat D color pear-shaped diamond of VS2 clarity cut for candlelight (estimated to sell for $400,000 to $500,000). Amongst the mounted stones there would be - a 9.69 carat square emerald-cut potentially flawless type IIa E color diamond of VVS2 clarity, that is embedded as a ring (estimated to sell for $350,000 and $450,000). %% Creations by renowned jewellers include an Egyptian-style jewelled scarab belt buckle ($250,000-$350,000) and an Egyptian-style lapis lazuli, turquoise, diamond, black onyx and enamel bracelet ($75,000-$100,000) from Cartier's 1920s period collection; Tiffany and Co.’s fancy intense-yellow diamond and emerald ring designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany circa 1915-1920, (estimated sale price: $200,000-$300,000), a Van Cleef and Arpels coloured-stone and diamond bracelet from 1930 (estimated sale price: $100,000-$150,000). Pieces from the collection of Lucia Moreira Salles, a former Brazilian model also a philanthropist, include three platinum gemstone rings with diamonds designed by Parisian designer JAR. %% The auction house believes that there is a growing number of buyers seeking diamonds with something unique, be it their legacy, shape or perfect quality. The sale is expected to realise over $20 million, reports say. The highlights of the auction will be showcased in Geneva, Hong Kong and Los Angeles, before the pre-sale viewing in December.
