High hopes are pinned on the forthcoming JCK Las Vegas Show. Attendance of U.S. jewellery retailers is high this year, and preliminary figures indicate a rise in retail attendance in the hope of refreshing inventory with new products, designs, styles and collections. Over 2500 international suppliers from 22 different countries are participating at the show. {{"We are seeing signs of optimism in the industry that we believe will play out at this year's JCK Events," said Yancy Weinrich, Industry Vice President.}} %% The industry optimism has been spearheaded by revival in consumer confidence and a somewhat better economy than last year. This year’s edition of the show has attempted to re-invent the manner in which retailers purchase products and collections for their stores. Upon having taken feedback from the retailers and participants, the organisers learnt an enthusiasm to be there at the show. "What keeps coming back to us in their comments are that the business-building benefits of attending JCK continues over the following year - whether it's picking up a great new merchandising idea, a new supplier connection or line, an educational session to train their associates - the list is really endless," adds Weinrich. %% This year will continue the {{VIP Buyers Program}} from last year to provide retailers with an extension of their buying budgets. Over $360,000 was put back into the hands of JCK Exhibitors from this programme. The program includes participation of over 600 retail stores with strong international participation from Russia, China and Dubai. There is the {{JCK 2010 Education Program}} to provide a veritable tool box of focused, market-savvy presentations, {{The JCK Design Center}} to source and find brands, new collections from today's hottest designers, and two Design Center Fashion Shows will provide retail buyers with a variety of jewellery designs representing the latest style statements. Also, the annual {{Designer Retailer Awards Ceremony}} will honour 50 retailers for their excellence in merchandising and selling designer jewellery, and a presentation on {{The JCK Welcome Reception, "JCK Rocks the Beach!
