After reaching diamond sales worth $2.56 billion in the first eight months of the year, mining giant Alrosa is projecting to close the year with optimism. Unlike its previous estimate of $3.3 billion, the company is now predicting diamond sales worth $3.44 billion by the end of the year. With this, it is looking at cropping its debts to $3.2 billion at the close of the year. September sales are projected at $215 million.
