The Paris Fashion Week commences on September 27 2012, and Manish Arora is geared up to make it the most special. He says he has for the first time prepared a truly Indian-inspired collection for the international market. %%
"The idea this time for my show is inspired by Indian jewellery," Arora, known for his quirky, kitschy and vibrant designs, told media. %%
"Actually I thought about it and it struck me that I haven`t really used a traditionally Indian theme ever in any of my international shows. The collection which I am doing this time is very new. I never took traditional Indian jewellery before. Yes, I took the beads, different kinds of embroideries, but they were always done in a way that was visually very global. I thought it was time to show people the Indian silhouettes and I hope that people would wear them next summer globally," he added. %%
Real estate firm AMR Group will sponsor his show and he has collaborated with leading jewellery brand Amrapali Jewels. %%
