PAKISTAN plans to establish three gemstone training centres with the aim of creating jobs and increasing foreign exchange revenues from exports of cut and polished goods, said the minister for petroleum and natural resources, Amanullah Khan Jadoon.%%Speaking at an award function, the minister said that the centres would be established in the Abbottabad, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit districts, but more such facilities were being planned across all four provinces.%%Jadoon said the country’s mineral policy, which is currently being reformulated by the government, would include additional incentives to boost local and foreign investments in Pakistan’s mining sector.
