IJ Awards Grand jury scheduled to meet this week

IJ Awards is presenting 115 spectacular designs that have been nominated in 22 categories.

The sparkling and the most dazzling 115 pieces of jewels are all set to compete with each other for the coveted JJS-IJ Jewellers’ Choice Design Awards, as the jury meet of which will be held at Sofitel in Mumbai on 19th November 2016.

Indian Jeweller has gathered finest minds from across the field of jewellery, fashion, architecture, travel, Bollywood to select the winners of 6th edition of JJS-IJ Jewellers’ Choice Design Awards. The esteemed jurors include Nirupa Bhatt, MD - GIA India (India & Middle East), Vimal Chand Surana, Convener -Jaipur Jewellery Show, Sangeeta Diwan, Jewellery Designer, Nachiket Barwe, Fashion Designer, Amy Billimoria, Fashion Designer, Babita Malkani, Fashion Designer, Taruna Patel, Industrialist, Nisha Jamvwal, Interior Designer/Architect, Mugdha Godse, Celebrity/Model and Madhu Sneha, Celebrity/Model.

In its sixth year, IJ Jewellers’ Choice Design Awards (IJ Awards) has set a higher pedestal of jewellery design in our industry by honouring the outstanding work and applauding the most innovative jewellery designs that contain a power of setting a global trend. With the year 2016 facing few of the biggest turmoil in terms of trade, unique designs and innovation in jewellery designs have come to light as a surviving trait. The IJ Awards were set in motion to motivate and praise such designs and give a spotlight to the hard work of such designers and manufacturers.

With the help of votes of over 1000 retailers across the country first round of voting on an online platform has concluded. As per the results, out of 600 designs from 90 companies across India, 115 have been nominated in 22 categories. These 115 designs will be judged on various parameters by our esteemed jury panel.

The IJ Awards organised by Indian Jeweller magazine has received immense support from the industry in the form of sponsors, who year after year have renewed their faith in the awards.
