Gemesis Corporation, synthetic diamond manufacturer, has signed on the teenage professional golfer Morgan Pressel as its brand ambassador. %% Pressel, who at the age of 18 became the youngest player to win a major tournament 10 days ago, has signed a multi-year endorsement contract with the company. %% “We are pleased to have such a fine and talented young professional associated with our diamonds,” said Gemesis chief executive officer Stephen Lux. “Her youthful style and elegance fits right in with the Gemesis corporate image,” he added.
Pressel won the 2005 US Woman's Amateur Championship and turned professional in November 2005. She recently won the 2007 Kraft Nabisco Championship on April 1st, becoming the youngest woman to ever win a Ladies Professional Golf Association major. %% “Gemesis uses breakthrough technology to grow diamonds and as I'm a big fan of both technology and diamonds, it was a perfect match for me. I am looking forward to wearing these beautiful diamonds,” Pressel said. %% “Both Gemesis and Morgan are Florida natives and represent the new face of once traditional establishments,” Lux remarked.
