The new members of the Certified Diamond Exchange (CDE) can now expect some incentives with every trade transaction the conduct for GCAL diamonds, as the Gem Certification and Assurance Lab (GCAL) has launched a new incentive programme to boost trade amongst them. The CDE - www.cdediamonds.com, is an Internet-based diamond marketplace, in which all retailers, wholesalers and dealers which are listed with the Jewelers Board of Trade are eligible to become members and trade in GCAL certified diamonds.%%Under the GCAL programme, all new CDE members receive reward card good towards $100 credit on a diamond purchase made within 30 days of registration. The CDE seller can redeem this one-time reward by availing of a serialised card upon purchase, which is translated as a related credit towards the GCAL account. The first such paid CDE sale was of a 2 carat-plus, GCAL Certified “Triple Ideal Cut”, D-color internally flawless round diamond.%%The CDE is backed by the resources of Collectors Universe, the parent company of GCAL and CDE. The membership is completely free, as the site is offered as a service to the industry.
