There is an exclusive section namely the Purple Evolution gallery created at the forthcoming Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair (BGJF) to celebrate the characteristics, rarity and beauty of jewellery crafted with the purple stone. The event will take place at Bangkok's exhibition centre Impact Challenger between February 27 and March 2.%%One of the highlights at the Purple Evolution exhibition will be the rare purple sapphires from Madagascar found in elaborated cuts. "Tree of Siam" made of Purple Gold will also be featured, symbolising the advancement made by Thai scientists' in making Purple Gold durable and malleable, while being less reactive to contaminants.%%There would be 15 unique collections by Thailand's top jewellery houses. Masa Malakul na Ayuthaya of Signity Thailand will feature a ring in silver and Amethysts. Beauty Gems' Managing Director Suriyon Sriorathaikul will present two Amethyst-diamond necklaces shaped in a "lace" and "Rachawadee Flower." Pranda Jewelry's Mr. Pairoj Panyarith has crafted the Dragon Fish using silky lines of gold interwoven with Amethysts. Jacques Prades of Gamma Creation has offered his "Russian Hills" and "Precious Claw" rings, made of 18K white gold with Amethysts in the center.%%“It heightens BGJF's platform as a world-class gallery to see the latest and unique collections of finest and award-winning jewelry which have already been presented through the Elite Creation and Hot New Design show sections,” said BGJF chief executive officer Somchai Phornchindarak. The Purple Evolution will debut Sala Design gallery, featuring avant-garde designs with stones.
