On 4th March 2005, Dimexon factories in Coimbatore were awarded prizes for safety in factory premises by the Tamil Nadu Government for the years 2001 and 2002 respectively. The award is an appreciation for the longest period recorded without any accident in factory premises in the state. %% Labour Minister, P. Annavi presented the Tamil Nadu State Safety Awards for two years to the factory's General Manager - N. Baskaran at a function celebrating the National Safety Day in Chennai. %% Recognizing the achievement, Chairman of the Group - Pankaj Mehta said, "This demonstrates how strongly we are committed to adopting best practices.
