Gucci has been rated as the fashion brand that delivers the best consumer shipping experience, by high-net-worth American consumers. The conclusion came out of the 2008 Luxury Customer Experience Index survey conducted by Luxury Institute, which rated 23 brands. Gucci received compliments as having "leading-edge style," "immediate recognition," "beautiful handbags" and "one of the top designer brands." %% The Luxury Institute's Luxury Customer Experience Index survey is focused at the elite Americans, and studies their shopping experience with leading brands. Its survey sample is profiled on a national level of 1,613 wealthy American consumers, with an average income of $350,000 and average net worth of $3.7 million. The survey was conducted online. %% The 23 brands surveyed include: Armani, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, Coach, Dana Buchman, Dolce and Gabbana, Donna Karan (DKNY), Faconnable, Ferragamo, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, Polo Ralph Lauren, Prada, Tommy Bahama, Vera Wang, Versace. Yves Saint Laurent. Louis Vuitton and Faconnable ranked second and third, respectively.
