HRD Antwerp NV announced the re-launch of its Lab Link Service in Israel, with logistics partner Malca-Amit, during a special event held at the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE). More than 150 Israeli diamantaires attended. IDE President Avi Paz said, "It is important that we have as many services as possible, particularly since our motto is 'Everything under one roof.' The presence of HRD Antwerp in Israel is important since it shows that they care about the Israeli market and appreciate its importance as a global center. Its tie-up with Malca-Amit is also important since it gives the Israeli diamantaire a local person to deal with”. %% Through the Service, Israeli diamond dealers can send their parcels for grading to HRD’s Antwerp lab through Malca-Amit, who will upon completion transport them to the client’s office. The Lab Link service was also welcomed by Moti Ganz, the president of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association and chairman of the Israel Diamond Institute, and Shlomo Eshed, president of the Israel Precious Stones and Diamonds Exchange. %% Dirk Dullaert, Chief Officer Commercial Operations of HRD Antwerp informed of additional services being offered by the lab, including educational courses, development of state-of-the-art equipment, and top-quality diamond grading. HRD Antwerp's diamond grading structure involves a double coding system to maintain trustworthiness and it works on ISO quality standards. %% Following a presentation by leading Israel financial journalist Nehemia Shtrasler, a draw was held with two winners receiving 10 free HRD Antwerp certificates and three free Lab Link vouchers. The Service was also launched in Mumbai, India, and Hong Kong.
