The JCK Group selected six jewelry designers as "Rising Stars" for its upcoming JCK Show Las Vegas in June 2006. The new designers get exposure for their work and the goal is to promote talent. JCK’s Rising Stars include: Pamela Froman (Pamela Froman Fine Jewelry;) Alex Woo (Alex Woo;) Fern Freeman (Fern Freeman Jewelry;) Konstantina Mahlia (Mahlia Collection;) Annette Pastorini Aiassa (Annette Aiassa Designs;) and Julia Teachey (Julieri.)%%"Selecting new designers each year gives an opportunity to introduce their work to the greater retail jewelry community," said Dave Bonaparte, group vice president for JCK Events. Designers for the 2006 show represent "the whole spectrum of designer jewelry from fashion-responsive trends to one-of-a-kind pieces that creatively mix stones and metals to produce truly unique and wearable art," he said. %%The Design Center will also host some 100 designers who have similar artistic, product, and marketing missions to the six, and will be showcasing an assortment of designs and styles that represent all facets of the designer jewelry world.
