Venus Jewel has introduced a new feature of diamond auction for the polished variety, on its website www.venusjewel.com. The venture has been in operation since mid-September 2008 and the company has become a pioneer amongst diamond manufacturers to introduce such a facility. %% The auction section on the website has a listing of diamonds from 1.78- to 7.008 carats at the time of going to press. Those buyers who are not registered with the company, can yet register online and view the diamonds. %% The company has planned updates on the website, with new diamonds every Wednesday at 19.30 hrs (IST). Each gem displayed has a minimum price to it. Bids are open from the day new stocks are uploaded till the following Wednesday and till 19.30 hrs (IST). On the same day, after 20.30 hrs (IST) the winning bidders will be announced. %% The company is a DTC sightholder.
