UBM Asia, which organises prominent international jewellery exhibitions in Hong Kong, China, India and Japan, has signed a marketing agreement with Rotaforte Fair Company SA to jointly promote the Istanbul Jewelry Show. The agreement supports two editions of the show in 2010, scheduled from 13 - 17 March and 14 - 17 October, and future events. %% Both companies are working ways to formalise this commercial relationship into a joint venture with UBM Asia as the majority stakeholder. Jime Essink, President and CEO of UBM Asia said: "The alliance between UBM Asia and Rotaforte would serve to further develop the Istanbul Jewelry Show for the benefits of the jewellery industry in Turkey." %% UBM Asia is part of United Business Media Limited (UBM.L) and is the organiser of the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair. It also publishes trade magazines and operates trade websites.
