Net profits for Shrenuj & Company have increased by 120 percent in (INR) terms to Rs 12.97 crore in the three months ending September 30, 2009. The company’s net profits in the corresponding months of last year amounted to Rs 5.90 crore, reports say. Within the said quarter, the company’s net sales increased by 16 per cent to Rs 396.86 crore, while in the same period last year it was Rs 342.16 crore, reports say. As reported in a leading Indian daily, the company is preparing to open its operations in South Africa. The company is one of the largest jewellery exporting companies of India.
