The US State of Wisconsin is hosting an auction of unclaimed jewellery and property including diamond rings, gold pendants, rare coins and collectible stamps, on eBay, reports say. The auction is set to begin today and would also feature a coin collection dating between 1800, 1818 and 1831. %% The Wisconsin Treasurer's Office conducts periodic auctions on eBay which include fine jewellery, and other unclaimed property that has been in the safety deposit boxes for over seven years. The auction proceeds are kept in a trust till the time the rightful owners approach to claim them, sometimes the time frame is indefinite, reports say. %% The present auction is being organised to clear the vault so that more unclaimed property or jewellery if any, can be stored in the vault.
