Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) is signing a letter of intent which will help establish a cooperative approach for the Antwerp diamond business to foster in China and also boost the Sino-Belgian diamond trade. %% AWDC will further its promotional plans into China, with the support of Kingsphere, a consulting firm in Beijing and is authorised by the Belgian Flanders Investment & Trade Board, and will set up many projects like joint public relations platform at a fixed location, to exhibit and sell diamonds. Both AWDC and Kingsphere are also considering the possibility of setting up a diamond club in China by the name ‘Kingsphere Antwerp Diamond Club’, to be a platform for promoting diamond products, and serving the growing domestic diamond demand in China. %% Subsequent to the growth being witnessed in China, the AWDC recognises it as a primary important market in the global gem and jewellery industry, and hence for the Belgian diamond trade also. The AWDC endeavour of establishing strong ties with the Chinese market is a step in this direction.
