Royal Asscher has joined hands with jewellery designer Reena Ahluwalia to further create jewellery for its ‘Stars of Africa by Royal Asscher® collection’. The new partnership will contribute necklaces, pendants and earrings, which will debut at the JCK Las Vegas show. Ahluwalia’s designs are extensions of the Stars of Africa half-dome rings and have been created to benefit the Star of Africa Initiative, Royal Asscher’s African focused fundraising programme. %% The partnership has created five pieces of jewellery to complement the innovative floating diamonds that the Stars of Africa famously unveiled. The collection focuses on hope, well-being and an effort to contribute to tangible social changes within Africa, symbolising Africa’s vibrant beauty. The jewellery includes full-diamond-globes that are encircled by orbit-like elements. The full-globes spin on their axes symbolising earth and the free-floating diamonds within it represent the shining spirit of her people. These orbits signify - education, health-care and empowerment - essential components to the root of the Initiative- impacting people’s lives. The pendants function like modern day amulets infused with messages of hope and well-being. The design of necklaces, earrings and pendants are all streamlined to represent the wondrous Africa.
