Leading Jewelers of the World presents 'Season of Love' Collection

It is a romance themed jewelry collection put together by Asmi, Gili, Ddamas, Nirvana and Nakshatra.

Christie’s: Jewels: The Geneva Sale is slated to be held on November 17, 2010, with a line up of exceptional 300 lots. Jean-Marc Lunel, Head of the Jewellery Department, Christie’s said, “Golconda, Muzo, Kashmir: these are magic words to any gem connoisseur. They are evocative of the legendary mines from which originate the best quality diamonds, emeralds and sapphires. Fabulous examples of all these top quality gems will be offered at auction at Christie's Geneva in November. Jewellery lovers will also find one of the most exciting selections of jewels with impressive Royal Provenance, together with a variation of extremely rare period, vintage and signed pieces”. %% The offerings from {{Legendary Mines: Golconda, Kashmir and Muzo,}} include: A unique pear-shaped Golconda diamond weighing 26.17 carats, D colour, Internally Flawless clarity, Type IIa. The diamond is suspended from a diamond briolette chain, and carries an estimate price of US$3,000,000-5,000,000. Amongst the lots from mines in Kashmir, known for the most beautiful sapphires with rich blue colour, the sale will include an un-mounted cushion shaped Kashmir sapphire of 19.94 carats, considered excessively rare due to its rich saturation and velvety blue colour spared from any form of enhancement. It carries an estimate sale price of US$1,000,000-1,500,000. Amongst the lots from South America: Muzo mines, an exceptional square-cut 'Muzo' emerald weighing 9.27 carats, highly transparent pure crystal, free of any form of enhancement (estimated US$ 380,000-580,000) will be on sale. %% The lots of {{Royal Provenance}} will include an amazing selection of rare and important pieces like two stunning Indian Diamond “Sarpechs” from Royal Collections, each estimated US$1,000,000-1,500,000. One of the Sarpech carries a total diamond weight of approximately 152 carats, while the other Sarpech is set with high quality emeralds and diamonds of sizes, ranging from approximately 15.16 to 7.87 carats. Another impressive piece is a superb diamond necklace created by René Boivin in 1935 for the late Empress Nam Ph'u'ong of Vietnam (estimated US$100,000-150,000). %% {{Beautiful Period and Signed Jewels}}This category is lined up to offer pieces like an antique ruby and diamond necklace, circa 1890, from the property of a Lady of Title, set with 18 Burmese rubies, and is of classical cluster design. It displays the best unheated, highly saturated and well matched Burma rubies (estimate: US$300,000-400,000). There are also some rare {{Art Nouveau}} pieces such as a delicate and rare enamelled and gold fringe necklace by iconic jeweller René Lalique (estimate:US$60,000- 80,000). Signed by Lucien Gaillard, two rings and a gold necklace, that are symbolic of the Art Nouveau movement. A magnificent and rare diamond sautoir by Cartier centrally set with a 12.70 carat brilliant-cut diamond, (estimate: US$800,000- 1,200,000)., is therefore a true rarity. An exceptional group of 14 Boivin jewels including the ruby and amethyst starfish brooch in Boivin design, (estimated US$160,000- 200,000). {{Van Cleef & Arpels}} is presenting a group of 43 jewels; from the iconic ‘Lion Ebouriffé’ brooch, a rectangular-cut diamond ring of 13.43 carats, F colour, VS1 potentially internally flawless clarity, a mystery-set ruby and diamond “Pavot” brooch, (estimate US$ 150,000-250,000). %% {{Diamonds & Natural Pearls}} – This category will offer an important oval-shaped diamond ring weighing 20.54 carats, D colour, VVS1, excellent polish and symmetry, potentially internally flawless, (estimated US$1,800,000-2,500,000). A brilliant-cut diamond ring weighing 13.88 carats, E colour, Flawless clarity and a rectangular-cut Fancy Intense Orangy-Pink diamond weighing 12.30 carats. Natural Pearls lots include a fivestrand natural pearl necklace (estimate: US$ 350,000- 500,000) and an antique diamond and pearl brooch, dated 1870 (estimate: US$200,000-300,000).
The viewings of the lots will take place from November 13-16, but will also travel to international centres - New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, through October – November.
