A pen made in white gold and embellished with approximately 2,500 natural diamonds in colorless and fancy yellow, designed and produced by Apranje, sold at the Visakhapatnam Jewellery Exhibition for Rs.2.3 million. All the diamonds adorning this special writing instrument were graded and certified by IGI (International Gemological Institute). %% Mr Tehmasp Printer, Managing Director IGI India, said “Indian markets are growing in design and trends. A diamond studded pen is an owner’s pride and for our industry to come out with new creations is becoming a habit now. Alongwith designs, certification is also gaining momentum and IGI is very pleased to lend an arm to the growing trends.” %% The pen was crafted by six craftsmen in a span of around 18 months. Mr Sanjeev Mehta, Director Apranje, said ''An Aesthetically crafted pen for an equally important Pen collector was what was on our mind when we made the Diamond Studded Pen. Diamond Sales during Diwali were good despite gold prices hit an all time high.”
