As a special social awareness initiative, Joyalukkas organized a special blood donation drive at the Al Wasl Hospital in Dubai. %% Blood donation drops in the UAE during the summer months and this special drive was also organized by Joyalukkas to push donations of blood during the lean period. The campaign is conducted in Dubai as well as India by the Joyalukkas team at periodic intervals; and based on special and emergency requests from hospital and other institutions. %% ‘Joyalukkas is strongly committed to corporate social responsibility activities and we feel every small and big step we take in this direction matters.’ Said Mr. Joy Alukkas, Chairman, Joyalukkas Group. %% Till date, almost 600 Joyalukkas employees have donated blood in Dubai. This time saw a record 75 employees come forward to take part in this initiative. %% Other than this Joyalukkas undertakes many other CSR activities on a regular basis to help various causes like building homes for the homeless, flood relief, education of children, medical treatments and so on.
