With the Karva Chauth tradition catching up with the e-generation, {{Tanishq}} has aptly created a mobile application especially for the festival. The application turns the screen of a mobile phone into a ‘sieve’ / ‘chalni’, through which one can see the moon. This first of its kind app has been created for Andriod, Apple & Symbian platforms and is also available on the Tanishq Facebook page for downloading. %% Talking about the Karva chauth application,{{ Bhuwan Gaurav}}, Head Marketing - Tanishq said, “With young girls and the newly married women, being active on social networking sites like facebook, such an app will surely create buzz amongst women. We are confident that this kind of an initiative will help the brand engage with traditionally rooted modern Indian women at a newer level. This is yet another example of great synergy of our rich Indian culture with technology and we at Tanishq are happy to bring to our customers.”%% Besides creating the application, Tanishq has also introduced a special Karva Chauth Jewellery Collection. Finely crafted in 18k gold and studded with certified diamonds, these trinkets can be the perfect gift on the occasion of Karva Chauth. %%
