Padmashree {{Shri Kishorebhai R. Zaveri}}, doyen of the Gems & Jewellery industry, a philanthropist and a visionary, passed away on the 24th Oct 2011 on the auspicious day of Dhanteras, at the age of 76 after a short illness. Shri Kishorebhai patriarch of the{{ Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri}} family ran his operation from New Delhi, has three sons who will now take the mantle.%% A Commerce graduate, Kishorebhai started his career from the TBZ’s Zaveri Bazaar shop as an apprentice and rose to become the Chairman of the Co. He installed some of the best business practices and systems in the establishment that TBZD is known for even today. He associated helped and guided many hospitals and educational institutions. He was the first person from the Gems & Jewellery sector to be awarded the Padmashree which he received from the President on 3rd April 2003.%% He always said dissatisfaction and discouragement are not caused by the absence of things but the absence of vision. As a good business leader he envisaged his vision, articulated his vision and relentlessly drove it to completion.%%
