The 5th edition of KGJS 2012 is scheduled to be held from 1st to 3rd Dec at Lu Lu International Convention Centre, Thrisssur, Kerala. KGJS indorses the jewellery business , contribute to the state's economyas well as allures tourists from India andabroad . This year, another feather in the cap of KGJS Awards is that the leading gemological science institute Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is slated to be the knowledge partner for the show.%% Commenting on this partnership Nirupa Bhat, Managing Director, GIA- India and Middle East said ''We are very happy to be associated with KGJS awards which recognises the entrepreneurship and excellence in Kerala’s gem and jewellery sector”.%% A beguiling jewellery awards night will be held to appreciate and revel the excellence in the gem and jewellery sector at the 5th KGJS. This magnificent awards ceremony is being presented by Gemological Institute of America (GIA), who are a renowned non-profit institute and leave no stone unturned to safeguard the public’s trust in gems and jewellery by sustaining the standards of academics, science and professionalism through education, research, laboratory services, and instrument development. %% KGJS awards will be awarded to highest the tax payer, exporter from the Kerala state besides being identifying the best karigar and designer from the state.
