The much awaited concept of the HRD Lab link was officially launched recently by HRD Antwerp NV. The launch was held at the Sheraton City Tower Hotel, adjacent to the Israel Diamond Exchange complex in Tel Aviv.

The Israeli diamond, gemstone, and jewellery community and officials from the centre’s leading industry organizations attended the launch. Belgium was represented by Georges Brys, general manager - HRD Antwerp NV along with Freddy Hanard, chief executive officer of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, Dirk Dullaert, HRD Antwerp NV’s chief officer of commercial operations, and HRD Antwerp NV’s account manager - Grietje Renders.

The HRD Lab Link service would employ the logistic service of D2D Val Express in Israel and G4S in Belgium. It will include all services currently offered by the HRD Diamond lab in Antwerp. Members of the Israeli diamond center would get a direct access to the HRD Diamond Lab, as diamonds would be picked up at the clients’ office in Ramat Gan, and returned with certification after grading in Antwerp . The service is also created to address smaller and medium sized companies that send parcels of small sizes, to the extent even single stones.
