The 12th edition of Jewellers Association Show (JAS’18) was inaugurated today in Jaipur.
Guest of honour, C R Chaudhary, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry lighted the inaugural lamp. Also present were Pramod Agrawal, Chairman, GJEPC, Sanjay Kala, President, JAS, Ramsharan Gupta, Convenor, JAS, Ashok Lahoti, Mayor of Jaipur, and Mohan Lal Gupta, MLA from Jaipur.
Central theme for the year is “Mines to Jewellery”. Jaipur is famous for its creativity and craft in gemstone and jewellery especially. Jaipur’s Jewellery is globally regarded and appreciated by numerous Hollywood – Bollywood stars and Jewellery lovers.
Initiated by The Jewellers Association, Jaipur, JAS is India´s top-of-the-line gemstone and jewellery show, showcasing a large variety of coloured gemstones and the finest jewellery collections by the country´s leading manufacturers. JAS´17 hosted more than 506 booths from various regions. The fair welcomed over 30,000 visitors from across world.
