Members of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council & Board of Directors of Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery Mumbai gathered with students, faculty & esteemed guests to celebrate another milestone of IIGJ Mumbai’s accomplishment - “Inauguration of Innovation & Incubation Center at IIGJ Tardeo”.

One of the main objectives behind setting up this center is to promote innovation in jewellery by creating an ecosystem that is conducive for the growth of starts – ups in the country. The presence of Chief Guest - Arun Kumar Mehta – Founder & Chairman – Rosy Blue Group of companies, IIGJ Mumbai Chairman – Kirit Bhansali, Board of Directors –Namita Pandya, Sanjay Kothari – Chairman – GJSCI, Shishir Nevatia, Nirmal Kumar Barmecha & Head of the Institute  and Sanjoy Ghosh graced the occasion. The Inauguration ceremony commenced with traditional auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by the dignitaries with saraswati vandana. Mr. Kirit Bhansali - Chairman – IIGJ Mumbai welcomed the gathering with the words of wisdom and appreciation.

Thereafter, Namita Pandya and Kirit Bhansali welcomed the chief guest Arun Kuman Mehta by presenting a bouquet of flowers and a Momento. Monica Jhaveri - HOD – IIGJ Tardeo shared an overview of various Jewellery courses conducted at IIGJ Tardeo and also achievements of the students. Sanjoy Ghosh – Head of the Institute enlighten us with the objectives & vision of Innovation & Incubation center – IIGJ Tardeo.  Namita Pandya – Director - Convenor – IIGJ Tardeo expressed her thoughts & vision about the center, she also appreciated all the members for their hard work and diligence for making the incubation center dream to come true. Institute also acknowledged the Success and Achievement of the students by their continuous Hard work, perseverance and dedication by awarding them trophies & certificates of excellence.

 Arun Kumar Mehta – Founder & Chairman – Rosy Blue Group of companies congratulated GJEPC & IIGJ for accomplishing the dream of “Jewellery Incubation center” in the city. His words of wisdom and experience were extremely encouraging. The inspirational speech and vote of thanks was delivered by Sanjay Kothari – Director – IIGJ Mumbai.
