GJSCI announces first ever India Jewellery Excellence Symposium

IJES will bring an outstanding incitement in jewellery industry for “Make in India” and for Global Markets by bringing in best international and Indian experts

Gem & Jewellery Skill Council of India (GJSCI) organized a press meet on 19th November and announced its first ever “India Jewellery Excellence Symposium” (IJES) to be held on 8th & 9th January 2020 at Hotel “The Leela” in Mumbai. India Jewellery Excellence Symposium is a unique technical symposium, being organized for the very first time in India and soon would gather its momentum internationally in the upcoming versions. IJES will bring an outstanding incitement in jewellery industry for “Make in India” and for Global Markets by bringing in best international and Indian experts with a view to upgrade Indian jewellery industry and create an opportunity to upskill the manpower engaged as per the motto of “Skill India. IJES 2020 is primarily driven with the broad objectives of: • Promoting & Propagating Technical excellence & Innovation in the Jewellery industry and upskilling of people. • Facilitating Manufacturing / Business Excellence through application of upcoming technologies & management systems. • Sharing Knowledge of “Process Excellence” through real life Case Studies / Panel Discussions. This initiative from GJSCI will create a benchmark in terms of facilitating jewellery industry with leading edge technologies, USPs of process excellence, Driving upskilling program across. The symposium has been broadly designed to accommodate several sessions on various technical, management, skilling related topics provided by renowned international as well as Indian experts. Approximately 300 top decision makers like company owners / Promotors, Design heads, merchandisers, Product development heads, Production & Quality heads, HR heads from jewellery companies in India & abroad will participate & get enriching experience through IJES 2020.
