Results of the election for the Diamond Panel of the General Category and Studded Jewellery Panel of the GJEPC were announced at Hotel Softel in Mumbai on August 30 in the presence of candidates or their authorized representatives. The online voting process for the Diamond Panel of the General Category and Studded Jewellery Panel of the GJEPC for the Term ranging 2022-2024 was conducted from August 23 to 27 in accordance with rules laid down by the electoral board.

V.C. Chaturvedi, Election Authority, Office of the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, declared the result of the online voting process. He announced the winners as follows:

• Nirav Bhansali of Prism Enterprises was elected in the Diamond Panel General Category
• Pankaj Shah of Concept Images was elected in the Gold Jewellery Panel & Other Precious Metal Jewellery Panel in the Reserved Category
• Naval Kishore Agarwal of Birdichand Ghanshyamdas was elected in the Gold Jewellery Panel and Other Precious Metal Jewellery Panel form the MSME Category
• Smit Patel of Diabon LLP was elected in the Lab Grown Diamond Panel, General Category
• Krishna Goyal of Dwarka Gems was elected in the Silver Jewellery Panel, General Category
• Anil Sankhwal of J.H. Jewellers was elected in the Studded Jewellery Panel, General Category.

REGIONAL CHAIRS

• Ashok Seth of Seth Jewellers was elected as the Regional Chairman of the Northern Region
• Nirmal Kumar Bardiya of RMC Gems India was elected as the Regional Chairman of the Rajasthan Region
• Pankaj Kumar Parekh of Alankar was elected Regional Chairman of the Eastern Region
• Princeson Jose of Prince Gold & Diamonds India was elected as the Regional Chairman of the Southern Region
• Vijaybhai, Manjibhai Mangukiya of Dhani Jewels was elected as Regional Chairman of the Gujarat Region
• Mitesh Gajera of Laxmi Dia Jewels was elected as the Regional Chairman of the Western Region
• Kirit Bhansali of Smital Gems as elected to be the Vice Chairman of the GJEPC.
