Delhi Regional Office of GJEPC Hosts Export Outreach Program in Amritsar

The GJEPC, Regional Office, Delhi, on Jan 18 had organised an Export Outreach Program jointly with the office of Additional DGFT, Ludhiana and ECGC with the support of The Amritsar Jewellers Association

The Export Outreach Program in Amritsar, jointly organized by the Delhi Regional Office of GJEPC, the office of Additional DGFT in Ludhiana, and ECGC, received a warm welcome at Hotel Lawrance on January 18th. Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman North, GJEPC, extended greetings to distinguished guests from prominent jewellery associations in Amritsar, including Sandeep Verma from ECGC Limited, Rakesh Kumar from NGJCI, and Rajesh Mehra, a senior member of the Amritsar Sarafa Association.

During his welcome speech, Seth underscored the significance of GJEPC membership and encouraged attendees to venture into jewellery exports through various channels, whether by hand-carry or engaging in e-commerce business. He also introduced the upcoming IGJS 2024, scheduled for January 23-24 at Bharat Mandapam, inviting everyone to register and participate in this gathering of gems and jewellery merchants, key dignitaries, and stakeholders.

Sanjeev Bhatia, Assistant Director, GJEPC Northern Region, highlighted the benefits of GJEPC membership, including participation in domestic and international jewellery shows, BSMs, export performance awards, and the India Pavilion at overseas events.

Sandeep Verma from ECGC Limited elaborated on the exporter-friendly policy covers provided by ECGC, safeguarding exporters' interests in case of buyer insolvency. He detailed the various policy covers offered by ECGC, emphasizing their importance and necessity. As a special guest, Rakesh Kumar, Director of NGJCI, urged both members and non-members to register for IGJS 2024 and actively participate in the summit.
