Delhi Jewellers Association Holds DJABL 2026 Auction Ceremony

Delhi Jewellers Association conducted the DJABL 2026 auction ceremony in New Delhi on May 19, bringing together jewellers, sponsors and players ahead of the badminton league scheduled for May 30-31.

The Delhi Jewellers Association (DJA) organized the auction ceremony for the Delhi Jewellers Association Badminton League (DJABL) 2026 on May 19 at the India International Centre in New Delhi. The event marked the formal commencement of DJABL 2026, which is scheduled to be held on May 30 and 31 in New Delhi. Members of the jewellery trade, including team owners, players, sponsors and association representatives, attended the auction session.

The ceremony was held in the presence of DJA President Shri Ashok Phophalia, Vice President Shri Prem Chand Jain, General Secretary Shri Atul Jain, Secretary Shri Siddharth Shrimal and Treasurer Shri Gaurav Lodha. Members of the association’s sports committee, including Ankit Rakyan, Maiki Phophalia, Arun Bhansali, Pankaj Bhansali, Deepak Jain and Nitin Sujanti, were also present during the proceedings.

According to the association, the auction session focused on team selections and player bidding ahead of the upcoming tournament. Participants from across the jewellery fraternity took part in the event. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ashok Phophalia said the response received for the league had been encouraging and added that sporting initiatives help strengthen interaction, networking and engagement among members and their families. The association stated that the badminton league aims to promote participation, fellowship and sporting activities within the jewellery community.
