The inauguration ceremony commenced at 11:00 AM and brought together senior representatives from India’s leading gem and jewellery industry bodies. The new facility is intended to serve as the association’s administrative and networking hub for the Sitapura gems and jewellery manufacturing cluster.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), who participated as the Chief Guest. Pramod Agrawal (Derewala), Chairman of the National Gem & Jewellery Council of India (NGJCI), presided over the event, while Rajesh Rokde, Chairman of the All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC), attended as the Guest of Honour.

The event was hosted by the SGJIA Executive Committee under the leadership of President Arvind Gupta, alongside Vice-President Anand Rao, Secretary Jaideep Gupta, Convenor Vijay Chordia, Treasurer Abhishek Sand, and Joint Secretary Ankit Lodha.

According to SGJIA, the newly inaugurated building has been developed to function as a central facility for the Sitapura gems and jewellery manufacturing ecosystem. The association stated that the infrastructure will support administrative activities, industry networking and engagement with trade stakeholders.

The facility is also expected to host meetings, industry interactions and visiting business delegations, providing a common platform for manufacturers, exporters and other members of the trade. The association said the building has been established to support collaboration and strengthen industry engagement within Jaipur’s jewellery manufacturing hub.

The inauguration marks the addition of dedicated infrastructure for one of India’s key gemstone and jewellery clusters. With the establishment of the Jugal Kishore Gupta Tower, SGJIA aims to provide an institutional base for its members and support the continued development of the Sitapura industrial ecosystem.
