The world jewellery industry can now access tips on corporate responsibility in the jewellery sector, through the new website ww.sustainablejewellery.org, launched by The World Jewelry Confederation. The website was launched on October 29, coinciding with CIBJO’s meeting in Geneva with UN officials, to also discuss corporate responsibility and sustainable development.%%“The website is not only intended to act as a source of information for our industry about what we can do, but it also will inform both our members and the world about what is actually being done at the grass roots level,” explained CIBJO’s President Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri. The site also delivers information on the role of the industry to promote economic and social development.
