De Beers has taken a decision to relocate its sorting operations from London to Botswana's capital, Gaborone. Recently De Beers opened a diamond processing plant in Botswana.The company has been undertaking sorting in London since over almost 80 years, since 1930s, reports the BBC. Its relocation would mean the loss of 50 jobs.
