The recent terror attacks in Mumbai saw the loss of Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg, the Chabad emissaries, who had been extended selfless hospitality for many Israeli diamantaires during their regular visits to Mumbai. The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE), extending its solidarity to the happenings, is hosting a memorial service for the victims of the Mumbai terror attacks, at the Exchange on November 10. %% On behalf of India, the country’s ambassador to Israel, Navtej Sarna, will attend the ceremony. IDE president Avi Paz, reportedly spoke of the strong bond shared between Israeli and Indian diamond communities. The Exchange looks upon Indian diamantaires as an integral part and the ceremony by the IDE pays homage to the many Indians and others who lost their lives, including six Israelis.
