Lazare Kaplan International Inc.'s compliance plan has been accepted by the NYSE AMEX LLC, in which the company has noted the efforts it would take to ensure it is neither suspended nor delisted from the Exchange, reports say. %% Problems between the NYSE and the company arose when the NYSE issued a deficiency letter to the company on September 16, as the company failed to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K, for the fiscal year ending May 31, 2009, reports say. The company has been given an extended time until 31 December 2009 to implement its plan and regain compliance with the Exchange, failing which it may be delisted from the Exchange, reports say. It will be under periodic review during its extension period.
