In the vein of social initiatives, Jaipur jewellers are participating in a massive blood donation drive in the city. The event is being organised by Jaipur-based Society (JSG- Gem City). The camp is slated for 25th April, 2010 at Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital (SDMH), Jaipur. %% "The camp is likely to generate a blood donation of over 3000 blood units, which will be a record in itself, as last year the drive had collected 2502 bottles.", says Sanjay Kala, a Jeweller and President of JSG-Gem City. This wonderful initiative undertaken by this society of 230 couples seven years ago, has seen an increase in contributions from 100 units, to an expected 3000 units this year.
