The new jewellery collection for the Indian wedding season

Participating in large numbers of over 100, the sales advisors of leading Indian jewellery retailer, Joyalukkas, received insights on better product knowledge and presentation skills, at the one-day ‘Diamond Awareness’ course conducted by International Gemological Institute (IGI) for the team. The course was held in Bengaluru, India on June 26, 2010, where Joyalukkas recently opened a branch outfit on July 4, 2010. %% The contents of the “Diamond Awareness Program” focus on product Knowledge related to diamond formation, sources, grading, identification of imitations and synthetics, branding, market trends, reading and understanding reports, selling skills and management aspects including understanding customer’s demand, window display factors, communication skills and delivering accurate information and confidently closing the deals. %% Mr. Tehmasp Printer, Managing Director, IGI India said – “The knowledge of the sales advisors as well as their ability to connect with the consumers, gives an advantage to lead in today’s highly competitive environment. By extending our expertise to the jewellers, we hope to provide comprehensive knowledge to their sales team, leading to an increase in productivity, sales and performance of the team as well as a good consumer base.” %% Mr. Ramit Kapur, General Manager, IGI India said - “The sales advisors are instrumental in making the customer’s decision to move in their favor.
